YORKSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER UK
Hello! I’m Louise, a Yorkshire lass and wedding photographer, based just a stones throw from Leeds and York. I’m obsessed with the Lake District, going on hiking and cycling adventures and [getting thrashed/thrashing people at] board games. I love nothing more than being outdoors and travelling the world. If you’re getting married up a mountain in Norway or on a glacier in Iceland, you’re very welcome to take me with you.
I love living so close to the Yorkshire Dales, and on days I’m not photographing weddings you’ll find me being pushed up a hill by my husband, whizzing down a hill on my mountain bike – or if it’s chucking it down, I’ll be making sloe gin in my kitchen.
I got married in 2016 in the Lake District to my wonderful bearded man beast, James. I wore fox socks, boots and a gold sequin dress. I don’t do normal.
While I love outdoor weddings (can you tell?), a cool urban landscape with characterful architecture excites me just as much as its green counterpart, and I love creating beautiful wedding portraits using the surrounding environment.
My wedding photography style is natural, relaxed, classic and beautiful. You want your wedding photos to look spectacular as well as capturing the fun and touching moments, and you’re looking for a wedding photographer who doesn’t get in the way or boss you about – someone who’s more like a guest than a supplier.
I treat my couples like they’re my best friends – it’s not uncommon for the family members to give me a big hug goodbye at the end of the day! I love weddings and I never want to leave – even though my feet are begging me to crash on the sofa! After the first dance, I love to stick around to capture the fun on the dance floor – and may even be spotted flinging a few of my own bad moves around, preferably while eating cake too.
If I sound like your kind of kooky adventurer lass, and you want to ask me about my favourite board game, send me a photo of your cat or even chat about your wedding, get in touch!
