I met up with Jenny & Pete on the day of the winter Solstice at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I couldn’t resist capturing a few in camera double exposures during our stroll together. There’s always a little element of surprise when creating these, as you never know quite what you’re going to get.
Thankfully the December rain held off just long enough for us to have a lovely roam around the intriguing corners of the grounds. The YSP offered a variety of interesting locations, from the Camellia House with its lush greenery, to tunnels of twisted tree branches, picking our way around numerous sculptures, across open fields and into the chamber of the Deer Shelter Skyspace.
It was a real pleasure to spend time with such a lovely couple, I really am looking forward to photographing their Manchester wedding come April.
Update – Take a look at their Manchester wedding here.
