A big congratulations to the lovely Ellie & Rueben!
It was such a pleasure to photograph this beautiful Rudge Hall wedding.
It was a gorgeous and hot summers day in the village of Beckbury, Shropshire. With bridal prep taking place at Ellie’s mothers home, right across the road from village church of St. Milburga, where the couples ceremony was to take place.
Ellie looked divine in her La Sposa wedding gown, with gorgeous lace detail and trailing veil.
The mother of the bride, Liz, had put on one heck of a display with the most amazing florals at both the church and the marquee. With fern foliage and cottage garden florals surrounding the church entrance and in the form of gigantic floral hoops hanging from the marquee ceiling. She had certainly managed to transport the beauty of her stunning cottage garden (which is to die for) into the details of daughters wedding day.
The grooms mother had also put her skills to good use and baked the most delicious chocolate brownies for everyone to enjoy – and oh boy, did I enjoy them!
I totally love when family and friends get involved in personalising a wedding day. All these little touches help make it so much more unique. Even the bar had been home made by another family member.
This was the first ever wedding Rudge Hall have held and what a bloomin’ gorgeous venue it is! Having the drinks reception by the pool, a sperry marquee tent set up by the walled gardens and being completely surrounded by countryside, all made for some gorgeous backdrops.
All in all, it was a marvellously fun, beautiful and love filled day.
